TRAINING AT PORT PELEGRÍ
A different gas mix means different limits
Depending on the mix and dive profile, Nitrox can extend no-decompression time. It also requires you to manage oxygen exposure. This is not a qualification to dive deeper.
You can add the specialty to your existing dive training. If you want to combine it with Open Water during your holiday, arrange the sequence with Poseidon before travelling.

Before you get in the water
Does the course require dives?
Dives are not mandatory for this specialty. Knowledge development and practical gas-analysis and computer skills are still required.
Will Nitrox let me dive deeper?
No. Each mix has its own oxygen-exposure limits, and Nitrox does not replace deep-diver training.
Can I combine it with Deep Diver?
Poseidon lists Deep Diver booking options with Nitrox. Check the prerequisites and contents of the option you select.
Is instruction available in English?
