YOUR FIRST FREEDIVING COURSE
Learn to move underwater, without a scuba tank
Freediving means diving on a held breath rather than breathing from a scuba tank. This course introduces the discipline and the procedures for working with a buddy.
You do not need a previous freediving qualification. You do need to be able to swim and feel comfortable in the water. You develop your skills during training; you do not need to arrive with a personal depth or breath-hold record.
FROM THEORY TO OPEN WATER
Three stages to build your foundation
Understand freediving
Learn the principles with PADI Freediver eLearning or your instructor, depending on the availability of materials in your language.
Practise in confined water
1 session to work on static and dynamic apnea in a controlled training environment.
Take your skills into open water
2 sessions covering free immersion, constant weight freediving and appropriate buddy procedures.
The planned duration is 2 days. Certification depends on successfully completing the course requirements.
